Our team revamped the GoodRx Gold onboarding experience across both mobile and web platforms to make it more user-friendly and engaging. I focused on simplifying the process, enhancing contextual understanding, and reducing friction, ultimately boosting user retention and satisfaction.

Main challenge: The original onboarding process for GoodRx Gold was cumbersome and confusing, requiring users to repeat actions and navigate without clear guidance, leading to frustration and drop-offs. The challenge was to streamline this process consistently across both mobile and web platforms.

Main goal: To create a more intuitive and seamless onboarding experience that reduces redundant steps, enhances clarity, and improves user engagement and retention across all platforms.

Solution: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, we redesigned the onboarding flow to provide a clearer layout, reposition key information, and introduce helpful modals that guide users smoothly through each step. The new design was implemented across mobile and web, resulting in higher activation rates and improved user satisfaction.
